RECRUITING FOR A PROPERTY MANAGER


We are seeking to appoint an individual with the necessary experience and attributes to be an effective Property Manager.

Working closely with other members of the Agency Team and responsible to the General Manager, the role involves all aspects of letting and managing a large student property portfolio requiring a high degree of customer service, administration and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage demanding situations.

The role is mainly based out of the agency conducting viewings, inspections, check ins, check outs, report writing, communicating with tenants and landlords, problem solving and dealing with a broad range of tenant and property issues.

The main focus of the role is helping tenants, landlords and contractors across the full range of property letting and management challenges to meet company objectives. Experience within a student accommodation or property lettings and management environment is a requirement for this role with proven knowledge of tenancy legislation, housing standards, statutory safety compliance, repairs and maintenance.

A recognised property management qualification will be an advantage although you will be encouraged to engage in personal and professional development. You must also possess excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills and be literate in MS Office applications - Word, Access and Excel.

The successful applicant will be confident, energetic, self-motivated, well-presented and able to work alone or as part of the team in a variety of demanding situations. A driving licence and own transport would be an advantage.
