With the support of our Landlord clients and more importantly our Tenants we have a programme of ongoing improvements which seek to reduce environmetal impact in a number of ways.
In our accommodation:
- Encouraging our Tenants to follow our ‘Green Code' to minimise their impact on the environment - this is displayed in all properties
- Switching to ‘green' energy suppliers
- Installing timing devices and sensors for lighting
- Renewing boilers with high efficiency alternatives
- Installing improved heating controls
- Installing water usage reduction measures
- Installing additional insulation
- Provide energy efficient appliances
- Seeking to repair and reuse items of furniture
- Seeking to buy products with a reduced environmental impact
In our agency and business delivery:
- Conserving the use of energy and other resources
- Minimising and recycling waste
- Seeking to buy products and services with the least environmental impact whilst maintaining competitive advantage
- Working with our suppliers to encourage continuous improvement including environmental impact of the products and services they manufacture or supply
