What service can you expect?
regener8 is dedicated to understanding and meeting Clients expectations. We strive to work closely with our Clients, their agents and other professionals involved in the contract. We operate a highly organised operation and endeavour to maintain ongoing communication with our Clients to keep them informed of progress.

Who will be involved in the project?
The scale of the contract usually dictates the range of professional services required. A redevelopment project may involve a Surveyor and Building Inspector. In addition there may be a Contract Administrator appointed by the Client (an independent person overseeing the project), a Structural Engineer and an Architect. The professions to be involved in the contract will agreed at the earliest opportunity.

How will your project be planned and specified?
Depending on the scale and complexity of the project there will usually be a surveyor, structural engineer and planner or architect who will turn the Clients brief into technical specifications and plans. These plans will then be approved by a Building Inspector to ensure the proposed works will comply with current Building Regulations. The professions can be appointed by the Client or by regener8 at the Client’s request.

If the Client is a Public Agency such as a Housing Association there is likely to be an independent Contract Administrator. In this case most of the Pre-Contract work will be carried out prior to regener8 being invited to tender for the project.

How will the project be managed?
The project will be managed by a regener8 appointed Project Manager. The Project Manager’s role is to ensure the project is managed from pre-contract stage through all works to completion and handover. We utilise a tried and tested system to programme and control works within an agreed timeframe.

How will regener8 keep me informed of progress?
We will keep you regularly informed via telephone, email and pre-arranged site meetings. You can contact us anytime to discuss issues and receive progress reports.

When will funding be required by regener8?
Prior to a project commencing on site, regener8 usually receives an agreed amount of advance funds from the Client. This initial amount will depend on the overall value of the project. Further payments will be requested at stages to be agreed in the project Contract & Schedule of Work.

What if I need to raise issues concerning the project?
At any stage of the project you can contact us and we will be pleased to address your enquiry. Our appeal is our flexible attitude and ability to maintain regular and effective communication with our Clients.

What guarantee do I get for the work carried out?
regener8 offers a standard 3 month limited defects liability period which covers most of the work carried out under contract. Extended guarantees may be applicable for specific equipment and installations.
